We experienced the German phenomenon that is OKTOBERFEST this weekend... No other way to explain it except one must really enjoy beer and polka. Since the drinking aspect really didn't appeal to any of us, we spent our time at the festival eating bratwurst and doing the chicken dance to a lederhosen-clad German polka band. Some things you do for the cultural experience- this was one of them! Here are a couple pics from the event- the Phillips sisters (Kara, Cheri and Christi) enjoying some Polish Sausage, and the musicians that kept the joint jumpin'.
