Sometimes Saying Things Correctly is Just Too Difficult.

As IF I'm not already uber-grammar-conscious, this video fires me up! For all of you who still say "supposebly"...I shun you.

Love this. Two of my personal favorite are "tooken" (one my BIL uses frequently) and "should have went". Both of which I hear EVERY time I go to Stockton! It's also fun being married to a Linguist, who not only picks apart how people speak, but has really complicated explanations for all of it!

Personally, I could care less when people say things wrong. I could mention a lot more, but that would prolly take a whole nother video. ;)

Here in Thailand, it's worse. You ask someone how they are, and they reply with, "Am fine," instead of I'm fine. Taxi drivers ask, "Where you go?" and venders tell me they "no have" my shoe size. I saw a sign the other day that read: "To watch out the fierce dog." :( I know it's not their native tongue, but somehow I feel like I'm not doing my job well enough as an English teacher when I see these mistakes everywhere.
