Boy, Girl, Boy, Girl, Boy, Girl..
Everyone seems to have an opinion on whether this baby will be a boy or a girl. I've never heard so many random reasons cited, either! I've started to collect them so I can analyze the results:
*You're craving salad? You're having a girl!
*No morning sickness? You're having a boy!
*Chris has a dream that we're having a girl.
*No first trimester weight gain...it's a boy!
*Fast heartbeat heard at pre-natal appointment...it's a girl!
*Chris has a dream that it's a boy. (I haven't had ANY baby dreams yet!)
*Chinese zodiac says the stars are aligned for a girl!
Looks like we will definitely be having a girl....or boy. :)

I never believed any of that mumbo jumbo... everyone has a 50% chance of being right or wrong.
Lori *felt* that she was having a boy the entire time. I never had a preference, though now I'm glad we have a boy, I'd be TERRIFIED of a little girl!
It turns out the BIG ultrasound is the best indicator of what you will have, ah modern Science!
We are excited for you and look forward to seeing pictures and videos of the little one.
As long as it's not both, then you're good... ;-)
FACT: Girls in utero do have a faster heartbeat...
FACT: I had morning sickness and absolutely no weight gain until the 5th month with my kids, boys AND girls ...
FACT: An ultrasound can occasionally be wrong ....
SO ... prepare for both and be happy!!!! You'll know soon enough!!
Any cravings?
Can we have an update on Luna?
I've been getting a lot of "boy." My hairdresser told me I have boy written all over me. Whatever that means. And a girl at work said because I haven't craved sweets and had no morning sickness that I am definitely having a boy. Really? I don't know how these people can be so sure about these things. Like you said, the 50/50 chance means pretty good odds for either prediction. :)
I've heard the no sickness = girl thing, but I was so sick, that I actually lost about 20lbs during the first and second trimesters, and I ended up with a boy. :-)
I just want to know, will you be finding out the sex or waiting till b-day??
We will definitely be finding out as soon as possible! That means, expect an announcement at the end of July :)
One of my l&d doctor's at the hospital where Ava was born said that if your belly looks like a basketball, then it's a girl; if it's a football, then a boy. He says he's been pretty accurate. It was true in my case. My belly was just about as symmetrically round as it could be and we had a girl!
Well...we had a fast first trimester heart rate & salad cravings & chinese zodiac said we were having a girl...so take it for what it's worth.
But then the Doc told us at our ultrasound...so thats really when we knew...LOL!
The first two trimesters of both my pregnancies were as different as different could be. BUT (isnt there ALWAYS a "but"?) during the third trimesters for both I ended up low, round, and all out front. I have a girl AND a boy. We'll be praying for 'healthy' and just remember: the Lord already knows the baby's name! Isn't that amazing?!
