Yes, yes. My first December in Duluth, and we get record snowfall. SO MUCH snow, in fact, that it was the fifth snowiest December since 1875. Duluth received just over 36 inches of snow in December- about 2 feet more than normal. Basically, an entire winter of snow landed on us in one month. I think God is laughing at me.
When we arrived home from the cities, our driveway was knee-deep with snow. The drifts you see here are courtesy of Chris' snowblowing.
Aaaaaand, the porch got a little snow, too. This made it a little difficult to open the door!

As we say here in the south, "Bless your heart!"
Keep holding on til late May or so, when it finally all melts.
We lived in Wisconsin during one of the mildest winters on record and still couldn't take the weather. Those who hadn't grown up there but had lived there for awhile said you do eventually get used to it.
Let's hope it's less than 20 years for you. ;)
Look at it this way, you can build a snow family with a snow house and a snow dog instead of just a sad little snow man.
