First Comes Love, Then Comes Marriage...

Hi blog friends! It's been a while, but that's because there has been a LOT going on at the Stavenger household! Not only have we been acclimating to a new dog, but the same day we picked up Luna, we found out I am pregnant! Soooo, that's been interesting information to digest! Of course, we're THRILLED, though I'm not so sure about having a baby at Christmastime...I always felt bad for the kids with birthdays at Christmas. It's like, "Here's all your presents for the entire year!" Oh well. I'm not complaining. It's still a little hard to wrap my brain around the fact that we'll have a baby by the end of the year! One good year after another...

Welcome to another exciting journey!

What a day-brightener blog post and SWEET picture! We are SO READY to claim the elite status of "grandparents." Thank you in advance for the best Christmas gift EVER! (well, since baby Jesus, that is) :) Love and hugs from Mom & Dad!!!

I know I already congratulated you on fb, but congratulations!

Don't worry, he/she will figure out as he/she gets older that there are benefits to the all-your-presents-at-once thing. I have on many occasions requested the two be combined for something big that I wanted.

So even though the summer babies got to have pool parties, I think I've made up for it.

Happy baby-growing!

Matt and I are so so so very excited for you guys! Seriously! You are going to make such a wonderful mom! :-)

Oh, and a quick fix to the "Christmas Birthday" is to celebrate a half-birthday! :-)

As you know, your brother-in-law has a December 29 birthday --- I NEVER wrapped his gifts in Christmas wrapping paper and the party NEVER involved anything Christmas. But, I have to say, he had some awesome sledding parties. Just try to make their day special! We are very excited for you . . . and us, of course!

Congrats to you and the hubby!!! If you're worried about birthday parties (especially in Minnesota), celebrate their half-birthday (did you see what I instinctively typed..."their," not "his or her"...whoa!) I have friends that do that and it works out great!
